The Phase 1 redesign raised completion rates, but a higher number wasn't proof that the feature people needed most — offline mode — was actually being used, or that the improvement would last. I instrumented the full activation funnel and 90-day retention curves to find out — activation rose 4×, and 90-day retention rose 3.8×.
